Suzie Philippot is an award-winning filmmaker and creative professional based in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Suzie’s career has spanned a variety of roles in the fields of film, television, fashion, art, new media and academia through over twelve years of professional experience. She holds an MFA in Production & Directing from UCLA.

As a Producer and the Director of the academic program for EB Studios, the first ever fully philanthropic film production company, she produced and coordinated multiple uniquely collaborative feature film projects. In 2017, she spoke on a panel at 20th annual World Congress of Science and Factual Producers about THE MAD WHALE, EB Studios’ project in collaboration with USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.

As a 2015 graduate of the University of California Los Angeles’ School of Theater, Film and Television with a Masters of Fine Arts in Production and Directing, Suzie has been awarded by The Hollywood Foreign Press, The Caucus Foundation and The Motion Pictures of America Association for her student film projects in narrative short and television formats, including co-directing UCLA’s award-winning, first ever, one-hour drama pilot DOUBLE BLIND in collaboration with fellow MFA students. As a director and producer, she is currently in development of a number of feature film and television pilot projects.
